Clarii PRO C20 ClariiOS 4.0 Upgrade Guide

    Release Notes:

    • Added the first-ever 3D Glide control for a wind synthesizer, introducing a completely new way to perform pitch bends.
    • Improved the responsiveness of Bite Control E-Wind for smoother, more natural vibrato.
    • Auto Vibrato, Elevation Vibrato, and Bite Control Vibrato now support adjustable rates.
    • Reduced transition notes when playing across octaves.
    • Reduced unintended notes when playing plucked and percussion sounds.
    • Improved sustain effects for plucked instrument sounds such as piano and guitar.
    • Optimized MIDI transmission timing and data rate.
    • User sounds can now save additional parameters, including Reverb, Tone, Texture, Legato Portamento, 3D Glide, Bite Range, Auto-Vib, Auto-Vib Rate, Fingering, Key Delay, Breath Adjust, Breath Curve.
    • Added Wi-Fi Update, allowing Clarii PRO to connect to a mobile hotspot and update ClariiOS and sounds directly.


    Prerequisites

    Prior to update ClariiOS, please make sure you have the below items ready:

    • A computer
    • USB C cable (shipped with Clarii PRO C20)


    How to Update ClariiOS

    1. With Clarii PRO turned off, press FN button and power switch until Clarii PRO enters upgrade mode.
    2. Connect Clarii PRO with the original USB Type-C cable to your computer.
    3. Download the update file through the link below to your computer.
    4. On your computer,  it shows a "Clarii PRO" USB storage. Copy the update file into the Clarii PRO folder.
    5. Wait 5 minutes for the file to load. Once finished, Clarii PRO folder will be ejected automatically.
    6. Wait another 5 minutes for the Clarii PRO to read the update file. Once finished, Clarii PRO will restart automatically.
    7. Check the version number on the display. If the ClariiOS version is 4.0.13, then the upgrade is successful.

    Alternative Update Method

    This update can also be operated by connecting Clarii PRO to Clarii App. Once the Clarii App is updated to the latest version, connect your Clarii PRO to the App wirelessly. Navigate to the device's connection page in the Clarii App to start the ClariiOS upgrade. This update does not require a data transfer cable if you are updating via Clarii App.
