At the heart of this update are two exciting new features: a completely new horizontal playing experience and 3D Glide.

Turn Your Clarii mini into Your First Digital Piccolo
Clarii mini has always offered a compact and approachable way to experience wind instruments. Now, with the new horizontal mouthpiece, you can experience it from an entirely new perspective. Simply install the horizontal mouthpiece and transform your Clarii mini into your first digital piccolo.
The Elevation Vibrato has also been improved to better adapt to horizontal playing, making vibrato control feel more natural and responsive when using the new flute mouthpiece.

3D Glide: More Expression at Your Fingertips
One of the biggest additions in ClariiOS 3.0 is the 3D Glide, the pitch control system that transforms all seven note keys into expressive pitch-bend surfaces—and no additional keycaps are required.
This allows your fingers to interact with the keys in more expressive ways, helping you explore nuanced techniques such as finger slides, scoops, half-holing and more subtle pitch and tonal inflections.
Whether you're playing horizontally or vertically, 3D Glide gives you new ways to shape your performance and discover expressive techniques inspired by traditional wind instruments.
*Please note that Elevation Portamento and 3D Glide cannot be enabled at the same time.
More Ways to Control Your Performance
- Turn the Flat Key into an Articulation Key: The flat (b) key can now be assigned as an Articulation Key. On supported sounds, it can trigger special articulations such as flutter and growl, allowing you to add more character and variation to your playing.
- A Smarter Elevation Control: A new Auto option has been added to Elevation Angle. You no longer need to manually configure a specific angle. Simply raise the instrument slightly to naturally trigger vibrato. The feature works whether you're playing Clarii mini vertically or horizontally, making expressive motion control more natural and convenient.
- Separate Clockwise and Counterclockwise Roll Controls: The Roll control has now been divided into: Roll CCW — Counterclockwise rotation and Roll CW — Clockwise rotation. Different functions can be assigned to each direction, giving you greater flexibility when customizing your controls.
- New Auto Vibrato Switch: Auto Vibrato now has its own independent switch, making it easier to choose how you want vibrato to work. Please note that Elevation Vibrato and Auto Vibrato cannot be enabled at the same time.
- More Pitch Control: The Pitch Bend Range now supports up to 4 semitones, offering greater flexibility for expressive pitch movement. You can also adjust Master Tuning, making it easier to play alongside acoustic instruments.
- Favorite sounds now support saving individual transpose, octave shift, pitch bend range, elevation, roll, tone, auto vibrato, 3D glide and articulation key settings. On the main screen, pressing power switch can exit favorite sound and return to the previous system sound and settings.
- Fine-Tune Your Sound: A new Tone adjustment gives you additional control over a sound's brightness, allowing you to further customize its character.

ClariiOS 3.0 expands the Clarii mini sound library with a collection of new sounds, including Classic Lead, Synth Zhudi, SFX (replacing the previous Fireworks sound), Classical Violin, Bright Soprano Saxophone, and Tin Whistle.
Several existing sounds have also been improved, including Jazz Alto Saxophone, Pop Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Pop Trumpet, French Horn, Tuba, Harmonica and more.

When you want to install or update sounds, you can do so directly through the Clarii App or use the new Wi-Fi update feature on Clarii mini.
Built-in sounds can now also be deleted and reinstalled at any time, giving you more flexibility in managing the sounds on your instrument.
Improved Recording and Bluetooth Audio
Clarii mini now supports audio recording using the Clarii PRO C20's EasyRec cable. By enabling "Line Out Speaker" in "System Settings," you can monitor playback directly through the instrument's built-in speaker.
Bluetooth audio volume has also been increased, addressing low-volume issues when playing backing tracks through Bluetooth or recording your performance.
More Convenient Everyday Features
- Update More Easily with Wi-Fi: ClariiOS updates and sound installation can now be completed through a Wi-Fi hotspot. You can also enter Wi-Fi names and passwords through the Clarii App, allowing your Clarii mini to connect to your home Wi-Fi for updates.
- Easier Language Selection: Press the power switch five times within two seconds to enter the language selection menu. This action no longer restores the instrument to factory settings.
- Playtime Statistics: A new playtime statistics feature allows you to keep track of how long you've played your Clarii mini.
- Screen-Off Feature: New screen-off functionality allows the display to turn off while the instrument is idle or even while you're playing.
- Greater MIDI Flexibility: MIDI Mode can now be entered and exited manually, and you can switch between different MIDI channels.
- Updated Default Settings: Several factory default settings have also been optimized, including Default Volume - 8, Elevation - Vibrato by default, Auto Vibrato - Off by default, etc.
Along with these new features, ClariiOS 3.0 includes additional bug fixes and performance improvements for a smoother overall experience.

To access these features, ensure you are using the latest version of the Clarii App.
App Update: The Clarii App update is operated via the App Store or Google Play. It is free to download and is fully compatible with Clarii mini.
Clarii mini Update: Once the Clarii App is updated, connect your Clarii mini to the App wirelessly. Navigate to the device's connection page in the Clarii App to start the ClariiOS upgrade. This update does not require a data transfer cable.
